BookletProTerms of Use (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Fabian Thanner ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the BookletPro application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Usage Rules set out therein.
2. The Service
BookletPro reorders and imposes pages of PDF documents you provide into print-ready booklets. All document processing happens locally on your device.
3. PRO Subscription and Lifetime Purchase
BookletPro offers optional paid features ("PRO") through in-app purchase:
- Yearly subscription: an auto-renewing subscription that grants access to all PRO features for one year.
- Lifetime purchase: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that grants permanent access to PRO features.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Where required by law, you may be entitled to a refund through Apple; we do not process payments or refunds directly.
4. Free Tier Limitations
Without a PRO purchase, booklets are limited to a maximum number of pages and to a default paper format. PRO removes these limitations and unlocks additional features such as page ranges, binding margins, page numbers, all paper formats and in-app printing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law; (b) use the App to process content you do not have the right to use; or (c) use the App for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the documents you process and for ensuring you hold the necessary rights to them.
6. Intellectual Property
The App and all related intellectual property rights are owned by us. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. You retain all rights to the documents you import; we claim no ownership over your content.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated booklets will meet every printing requirement. Always review the preview before printing.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the App.
9. Apple’s Standard EULA
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, this Agreement supplements, and where it does not conflict is supplemented by, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.
10. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under it terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination you must stop using the App.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
